The Stakeholders

NREP works with  Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Provincial and Local government entities including the Ministries of Physical Infrastructure Development (MoPIDs) in Provinces 2, Lumbini and Karnali.

NREP partners with private sector stakeholders include Renewable Energy project developers and investors, independent power producers, Renewable Energy Service Companies, industry associations including Solar Energy Manufacturing Association of Nepal and Energy Development Council, banks and bank regulators. Similarly, NREP collaborates with other public and non-profit sector entities involved in energy policy and regulation, resource planning, generation, transmission and distribution, climate resilience, and societal impact—such as the Ministry of Finance, Electricity Regulatory Commission, ICIMOD, Prime Minister’s Agriculture Modernization Project, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, and Clean Cooking Alliance.

NREP also work in partnership with development and finance partners including Agricultural Development Bank, World Bank, USAID, International Finance Corporation, and CDC Group, working in Nepal’s renewable energy.
